Ballet, finally

Today, Nicole is going to her first ballet class, and we're both so excited! Growing up, I had ballet & gym classes three days a week one hour for ballet and one for gym, since I was 6 until I turned 12... so I really am dying to see if she loves it like I used to. I am going to buy her pink leotard, thights and shoes, and I will pull her hair up like a princess... Can't wait to take a zillion pictures. I am just sad that Cesar is not here to see it, but I'm sure that he is having the time of his life. He went with his father to Orlando, and I can't wait to see his pictures, either!
As for Connor... well, he's having fun just looking around and discovering the world. He's such a content little boy!
Yes, we are a blessed bunch, no doubt about that!

Ohh I can't WAIT to see pictures!! My oldest, M'Kayla had a few ballet classes untile she got kicked out (YES KICKED OUT!) she would do nothing but cry cry cry for me and that was just pathetic. The poor thing wasn't ready (2.5 years old) and still to this day isn't into anything like that. She won't even go to a friend's house without me staying. I hope that she'll outgrow it soon!
I hope Nicole loves it and I can't wait to see the pictures!!!

We took Connor to an ultrasound to Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva to check his kidneys. He had a little more fluids in there than what he should have since he was born, and we checked him at 6 and now 15 months to make sure that this little detail corrected itself. We are SO hoping that this time he will be given a clean bill of health, but the technician wouldn't tell us much. She did say that both kidneys look better than last time (Yeepee!!!), but didn't say simply "fine" just yet. I'm hoping that the specialist will use PERFECT to describe it, and we can just go on our merry way as usual. Of course, before they started with the ultrasound, I HAD to take pictures! Connor was NOT happy, and Brian was a little annoyed, but he obliged for TWO only. Hubbies!!! What do they know about anything??? A few weeks ago, after work, I heard Brian scolding Cesar. (If you don't know it, Brian and I work from home, so my office is just a few steps from the kitchen, so i can hear pretty well) He was starting to sound VERY unhappy, especially because Cesar wouldn't own up to his mistake. Happy birthday, USA!!!

We will be having a totally lazy 4 th of July. Brian just came back from his trip last night, and I think he must be needing a lot of rest. He's loving his new job, but since he really is very good at "fixing" accounts, every time he fixes one and he's starting to enjoy the fruits of his work, another one gets "broken", so he has to go in and fix that one as well. It's nice that he gets such a good reputation in his industry, and it's great that he gets to know so many new people, because it's always good to have such a network of contacts, but it's really exhausting. Anyways, a few days ago I went to buy a watermelon, because we all are fans (big time!). We come home, our mouths watering, and we open it to this... WHAT??? Cesar was brave enough to try it, but I just cannot bring myself to eat some yellow watermelon flesh. It does taste the same, but I just couldn't have more than a bite or two.
