Maybe this time?
We took Connor to an ultrasound to Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva to check his kidneys. He had a little more fluids in there than what he should have since he was born, and we checked him at 6 and now 15 months to make sure that this little detail corrected itself.
We are SO hoping that this time he will be given a clean bill of health, but the technician wouldn't tell us much. She did say that both kidneys look better than last time (Yeepee!!!), but didn't say simply "fine" just yet. I'm hoping that the specialist will use PERFECT to describe it, and we can just go on our merry way as usual.
Of course, before they started with the ultrasound, I HAD to take pictures! Connor was NOT happy, and Brian was a little annoyed, but he obliged for TWO only. Hubbies!!! What do they know about anything???
In any event, when I saw the pictures that I took this evening, I thought, "Maaaan, no wonder why I am so much in LOVE with this kid!!!" Just in case you can't read it, his shirt reads: HUNK OF BURNING LOVE.
My sister Hilda and her son Gus came over to visit, and stayed with Nicole and Cesar while we took Connor to the hospital. It's always AWSOME to have her over for a weekend visit! She lives about 45 minutes away, and she usually spends the night when she comes over.
And, at the end of the day, I finished this week's challenge. I REALLY loved this picture of Nicole. Her eyes just look SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!! This is my fave for the time being...
Happy Easter, everyone! Happy day of Jesus' Resurrection!!! Happy Day of our Redention!!!
If you are not Christian and don't celebrate this day, God Bless you, anyways!!!
