Welcome 38!

Image
A bitsy blurry, but this is the Fisherman's Inn fish farm. It's such an AWSOME place! So, this is what 38 feels like! Last Tuesday was my birthday, and it's so nice to be the birthday girl! Friends and family sent messages and e-cards, calls, my friend Amy had a nice gift card for a local Spa (THANKS, AMY!!) that I intent to use soon, and the whole day just went so placid and nice. Tracie sent the most beautiful card that made me cry (THANKS, TRACERS!!!), it was soooo sweet and touching, just like Tracie is! Brian told me NOT to make dinner (as if!) and to wear something other than jeans. Now that is the kind of talk I like to hear! When he came home, he got the children to give me my present. I am sooooo excited about my present! Now, a few days ago, when my parents were visiting, they asked me why don't I listen to music anymore. So, after pondering the question, I realized that a lot of the music I'd like to listen is from my teenage years, and I have it all in

Back to Moderating...

I hate having to moderate comments, but for one reason or another, there is always someone sour and angry and ready to try to ruin everybody else's mood. So, again, someone has thought that my little blog here should be his or her target to critize. I really don't even bother reading those kinds of messages; simply click the delete button and they are done. It's kind of funny and kind of flattering, in a funny way, since I've never met this person, or even visited his/her blog, so I guess I must be all that important for him/her to come and pass judgement on me and my blog... I live my life as kindly and as happily as I possibly can, and don't have time or space in my life for that kind of bad people, karma, feelings, vibes, or whatever you call it. So, I placed the moderation on comments again. Maybe this person will get tired of me and find something to do with his/her life soon and not leave his/her garbage here. But until then, please forgive the bother! Hugs to

Back to reality

Well, we had so much going on that it's almost impossible to try to catch up with it all. My parents came and left, and now I'm back to business as usual. The whole visit was so lovely. But I think the best part was realizing that I probably push myself too hard, when nobody is really asking for such "perfection". Once I realized this, I had such a great time with my parents! Dad was so happy to work on our back yard. He loves gardening and he had a good time getting our little garden going. I LOVE the way it looks now. He and Brian had a great time going to chose the plants and trees, and I think it really is lovely. I really was very blessed to have my parents here visiting. I can only hope we can have them back again soon. Or go visit them even sooner! I know that Cesar, Coco & Connor had a blast playing with them. Oh, and the baptism favors??? I didn't finish them, thank you very much. Not that anyone was upset about it... not even ME!
