Rainy days and Mondays...

they do always get me down... but yesterday I was determined NOT to get down at all. So, my handy dandy sewing machine came to the rescue.

Remember what the old pillows on our couch looked like? (and by the way, this is what the house looks like again without Brian... I hate it when he travels...)
Well, these are the pillows now...

Now, if only I could learn how to make slipcovers for my furniture... wonder if it's too complicated? Maybe I'll try to find some tutorial online... drop me a line if you know of a good one!

I love sewing too, although it is mainly on my L.O's these days or hemming....you know, boring stuff.

How long is Brian away for? Be strong my friend...he'll be back before you know it!

You did so good. I love the color. I wish you lived closure. I need a Monday pal too-I always miss the kids when they go back to school Monday morning. I love the noise and the excitement when they are home...well, most of the time. wink, wink. Kara
