Such a hectic week



I felt sooo agravated this whole week. I kept making so many dumb mistakes that made me so angry at myself! Nicole's first day of school (formally) was Tuesday. We were supposed to take them with tags on their clothes (for the first few weeks only). So, the Round Up day, I scrapbooked a nice tag for one of her friends, Jake, who came to play. Well, I forgot to scrapbook my own daighter's tag!!!! Oh, I was sooo angry that she had to take a plain printed one that daddy had to make in a hurry, because to top it off, I couldn't wake myself up that morning! ARRRGH!
So, Wednesday I finally made one (early in the morning, mind you. I don't know why was I so exhausted all week!) In any event, I just felt so dumb and such a neglecting parent. I know, it's just a tag, but it was the fact that I didn't have it ready.
Anyways, I'm trying to work out a way to keep Coco with me after school. When I took this new job, helping the agency I interpret for, from home, the whole idea was to have my kids with me. Well, that is not possible, since I need all my attention on my job, so I have to take Connor to daycare, which breaks my heart. But at least I wanted to have Coco, but I needed to do a reality check...
It's not working! She's just too loud with her friends around. And having her alone, means that she is glued to the TV. It's nice friendly channels, PBS kids Sprout and Noggin, but still, it's just not fair to her to be here by herself. But then again, I took such a paycut for this, and it's just not working. I feel so frustrated! I want her to be here with me, but it seems like it won't work out...
Anyways. I guess this is going to be a decision I'll have to ponder some more. In the meantime, here are some pics of Coco on Tuesday.

A few weeks ago, after work, I heard Brian scolding Cesar. (If you don't know it, Brian and I work from home, so my office is just a few steps from the kitchen, so i can hear pretty well) He was starting to sound VERY unhappy, especially because Cesar wouldn't own up to his mistake. About birds and TEA

Before I start my update... I just had to take a picture of Connor. He is such a BOY!!! I think boys are programmed to be goofy... If you have a boy, I'm sure you have found these kids of scenes, pretty much daily! Anyways, this Good Friday I participated in The Way of the Cross celebrated at 3 pm in front of the Planned Parenthood clinic we have in Aurora. I was so glad to see such a large group, it kept growing as the minutes went by. It was pretty cold, and as usual, I was not wearing a sweater or jacket, but it was well worth it. We prayed for the babies being killed, for their mothers and for the doctors and nurses that assist them. May God help them all. As I did this, Noni came to take the kids to decorate eggs. We did decorate some at home on Saturday, too, but Noni's were a lot more dramatic, especially the one with all those feathers! Coco and Connor found some presents from the Bunny on Sunday morning. Plank Jr. High

Last Thursday, Cesar had his Jr. High open house. It's a brand new school, so everybody was sooo excited to go to this new place. The original plan was for Brian to be here and take him, or for all of us to go, but Brian, of course, was sent to the Indiana office at the last minute, so he couldn't get here on time. And that left ONLY the option of mom taking him and his friend Aaron to the open house... With the two li'l ones in tow, mind ya! I was sooo aggravated, because I felt that Cesar was soooo embarrassed to walk around with Coco and Connor, and me. I had to bring myself back to his age, to try to understand that I, too, wanted my parents to leave me alone, but not VERY alone :) I just wanted to feel like a grown up, and my parents all the time around me made me feel so much like a kid.
