My Space is not really mine...





although it mostly is... This is the first time that I ever post anything in this Studio Friday "thingy". I always see it in my friend Tracie's Blog. I usually visit and ooh and aaah over everything I see, but never thought about posting anything... but this time, it's Tracie's idea, so I might as well give this concept a try.

Soooo... my space is a shared space. Since we only have one computer in the house, we all share this small little loft turned office. But it is mostly mine. The only thing I don't completely love is my chair, since it's kind of tall and my feet tend to dangle all the time when I sit, since I'm a shortie. I try to keep it as clean as it looks here, but most of the time it looks like the last pic here. Still, I love it!

I share my space/room too with my husband, but honestly it's all mine. His desk is usualy covered with my stuff!

We will be having a totally lazy 4 th of July. Brian just came back from his trip last night, and I think he must be needing a lot of rest. He's loving his new job, but since he really is very good at "fixing" accounts, every time he fixes one and he's starting to enjoy the fruits of his work, another one gets "broken", so he has to go in and fix that one as well. It's nice that he gets such a good reputation in his industry, and it's great that he gets to know so many new people, because it's always good to have such a network of contacts, but it's really exhausting. Anyways, a few days ago I went to buy a watermelon, because we all are fans (big time!). We come home, our mouths watering, and we open it to this... WHAT??? Maybe this time?

We took Connor to an ultrasound to Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva to check his kidneys. He had a little more fluids in there than what he should have since he was born, and we checked him at 6 and now 15 months to make sure that this little detail corrected itself. We are SO hoping that this time he will be given a clean bill of health, but the technician wouldn't tell us much. She did say that both kidneys look better than last time (Yeepee!!!), but didn't say simply "fine" just yet. I'm hoping that the specialist will use PERFECT to describe it, and we can just go on our merry way as usual. Of course, before they started with the ultrasound, I HAD to take pictures! Connor was NOT happy, and Brian was a little annoyed, but he obliged for TWO only. Hubbies!!! What do they know about anything??? A few weeks ago, after work, I heard Brian scolding Cesar. (If you don't know it, Brian and I work from home, so my office is just a few steps from the kitchen, so i can hear pretty well) He was starting to sound VERY unhappy, especially because Cesar wouldn't own up to his mistake. OUCH! So, here I come into the kitchen and start listening in: BRIAN: "What do you mean you didn't take them? Are you hording them? Did you hide them?"
