My favorite song ever.

My favorite song ever.: "Todo a Pulmon" (sang by Alejandro Lerner). This was my favorite song as a teenager. It's kind of funny that more than 20 years later, after two husbands, two kids, one on the way, and a LOT of cynicism in this head of mine, this is still my favorite song. I have changed in so many ways, I can't even count them. I am so much older, but not necessarily wiser. I am much more calculating, I take less risks, and I have, pretty much, turned into the adult that I so much could NOT understand back then. Funnier yet, the adult I SO refused to be. No matter how much I've changed, I guess deep inside there is a certain passion and a certain fire that refuses to die, even though reason tells it to. That part of me that still refuses to settle, that refuses to lower her head, that refuses to sell herself and her ideas, comes out screaming when I hear this song. Absolutely me. This is absolutely MY song."

A few weeks ago, after work, I heard Brian scolding Cesar. (If you don't know it, Brian and I work from home, so my office is just a few steps from the kitchen, so i can hear pretty well) He was starting to sound VERY unhappy, especially because Cesar wouldn't own up to his mistake. About birds and TEA

Before I start my update... I just had to take a picture of Connor. He is such a BOY!!! I think boys are programmed to be goofy... If you have a boy, I'm sure you have found these kids of scenes, pretty much daily! Anyways, this Good Friday I participated in The Way of the Cross celebrated at 3 pm in front of the Planned Parenthood clinic we have in Aurora. I was so glad to see such a large group, it kept growing as the minutes went by. It was pretty cold, and as usual, I was not wearing a sweater or jacket, but it was well worth it. We prayed for the babies being killed, for their mothers and for the doctors and nurses that assist them. May God help them all. As I did this, Noni came to take the kids to decorate eggs. We did decorate some at home on Saturday, too, but Noni's were a lot more dramatic, especially the one with all those feathers! Coco and Connor found some presents from the Bunny on Sunday morning. Plank Jr. High

Last Thursday, Cesar had his Jr. High open house. It's a brand new school, so everybody was sooo excited to go to this new place. The original plan was for Brian to be here and take him, or for all of us to go, but Brian, of course, was sent to the Indiana office at the last minute, so he couldn't get here on time. And that left ONLY the option of mom taking him and his friend Aaron to the open house... With the two li'l ones in tow, mind ya! I was sooo aggravated, because I felt that Cesar was soooo embarrassed to walk around with Coco and Connor, and me. I had to bring myself back to his age, to try to understand that I, too, wanted my parents to leave me alone, but not VERY alone :) I just wanted to feel like a grown up, and my parents all the time around me made me feel so much like a kid.
